Let's get started!!
◆ Main panel
② 22㎝ × 22㎝ (8¾″ × 8¾″) Outer layer
② 22㎝ × 22㎝ (8¾″ × 8¾″) Lining
② 20㎝ × 20㎝ (8″ × 8″) Fusible fleece
Apply a 20㎝(8″) circle of fusible fleece to the wrong side of one fabric piece.
Place the two fabric circles right sides together.
Stitch along the edge of the fusible fleece, leaving a small opening for flipping.
Trim the seam allowance to 1㎝(3/8″).
Make small notches along the curved edge to ensure a smooth round shape.
Turn the piece right side out through the opening and press flat.
Topstitch around the entire circumference of the circle.
Divide the circle into 6 equal sections.
Marking the circumference at approximately 10.5㎝(4¼″) intervals will give you 6 even parts.
Sew from the outer edge toward the center along the 6 marked lines, stopping at 5㎝(2″) inward.
Take the top layer of fabric and pinch/fold it so the previously sewn lines meet at the center of each section.
Secure the folds by sewing the top edges together, approximately 3.5㎝(1⅜″) from the outer rim.
Your 7-compartment basket is now complete!

All done! We hope you enjoy creating your own wonderful piece.
