Free Pattern!!! Let’s Make a Mini Zipper Pouch Coin Purse

Today, I’m sharing a super cute and useful little project.
This mini zipper pouch coin purse can be clipped onto your bag, making it perfect for everyday use.

Inside, there’s a handy card pocket to store your essentials like cards or receipts.
The best part? I’m including a free pattern so you can make your own easily—even if you’re a beginner!

It’s a fun and relaxing sewing project that you can complete in just a short time. Why not give it a try this weekend?

The finished measurements of this wallet are approximately
13㎝(5⅛″) W × 9㎝(3⅝″) H ×3㎝(1¼″) D.

Let's get started!!

◆ Main Panel
①  18㎝ × 23㎝ (7⅛″ × 9⅛″) Outer layer
①  18㎝ × 23㎝ (7⅛″ × 9⅛″) Lining
①  16㎝ × 21㎝ (6⅜″ × 8¼″) Fusible fleece
◆ Inside pocket
①  11㎝ × 11.5㎝ (4⅜″ × 4½″) Lining
◆ Others
①  12㎝ (4¾″) Zipper
① 1㎝ (3/8″) Wide Webbing Strap 17㎝ (6¾″)
① 1㎝ (3/8″) Wide D-ring
① 1㎝ (3/8″) Wide Swivel Snap Hook

Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.

Place the inner pocket on the right side of the lining and sew.

Place the strap on the right side of the outer layer and sew.
With assembled lining right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge. Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place. Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 0.7㎝(1/4″) seam allowance. Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.
Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way. Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 3㎜ (1/8″) away from the zipper.

Fold up only the outer layer and place the right sides together. Sew the top.
Fold up only the lining and place the right sides together. Sew the top, leaving an opening.

Sew the sides of the outer layer and lining under the zipper as shown in the picture.

Combine the seams so that a flat base is formed. Sew with an allowance of about 0.7㎝(1/4″).

Sew the outer layer and lining together along the both sides to the not stitched.

Turn out our pouch through the hole that we left not stitched.
After this, sew up this hole, and the hanging coin pouch is ready!
