Cut the front pocket Exterior and Lining as mirror images according to the pattern. Place the pocket Exterior and Lining right sides together and sew along the top edge with a 0.7cm (1/4″) seam allowance.

Turn the pocket right side out, press neatly, and topstitch along the top edge. Position the front pocket on the Main Panel Exterior and baste along the sides and bottom.

Sew the zipper to the Exterior Top Panel using a zipper foot and a 0.7cm (1/4″) seam allowance. Attach the Lining Top Panel to the other side of the zipper tape.

Repeat the process to attach the Exterior and Lining Bottom Panels to the remaining zipper tape.

Press the panels away from the zipper and topstitch 0.3cm (1/8″) from the zipper teeth. Position the completed zipper pocket on the Main Panel Lining and baste it in place.

Center the flap above the back zipper pocket and baste its raw edge to the top of the panel.

Sew the Main Panel Exterior pieces together, leaving the top edge open. Sew the Main Panel Lining pieces together, leaving the top edge and a turning opening along one side seam unsewn.

Place the Exterior Bag inside the Lining Bag with right sides together, align the top edges and side seams, and sew around the opening with a 0.7cm (1/4″) seam allowance.

Turn the bag right side out through the Lining opening, close the opening, tuck the Lining inside, and topstitch around the top edge.

All done! We hope you enjoy creating your own wonderful piece.
