If you love hand sewing or using a sewing machine, why not try making a fabric basket?

Today, we’ll show you how to create a practical fabric basket with a round bottom and six outer pockets! It’s perfect for project bags, tool storage, or organizing stationery.

This basket can be used for various purposes—store your knitting tools as a project bag, organize cosmetics or tools, or keep children's toys and stationery tidy.

Choose a fabric pattern that suits your style and make it uniquely yours!

The finished measurements of this bag are approximately

Fold and sew the pocket fabric twice 1㎝(3/8″) with the right side facing out.

Place the pockets on the right side of the main panel and sew.
Place the right sides together of the outer layers and sew the both sides with an allowance of about 1㎝(3/8″).
Apply bias tape around the seam and sew.

Place the bias tape right sides together with the bottom of the main panel and sew in place.

Cut the bottom panel into a circle with a diameter of 20㎝(8″).

Do this by marking the quarter of your bottom panel and the quarter of your main panel. Using your quarter marks, start pining the bottom of your main panel around the perimeter of your bottom. Sew all the edges with an allowance of about 1㎝(3/8″).
Fold the edge of the bias tape over the seam allowance. Then fold over again flush with the seam. Press in place. Stitch along the folded edge of the bias tape.
Fold the main panel ( the long fabric ) in half and sew. Fold the lower inward by 1㎝(3/8″) and press in place.
Place the top together of the main panels and sew with an allowance of about 1㎝(3/8″). Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on the top.

You are finished!!!
