Make Your Own Canvas Box Pouch – A Perfect Travel Toiletry Bag!
I recently made this super practical canvas box pouch, and I absolutely love how it turned out!

① 4㎝ (1⅝″) Wide bias tape 160㎝ (63¼″)
Cut the interfacing into the shape of the pattern.
Fuse the fusible fleece, centered, to the wrong side.
With assembled lining of the front pocket right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge.
Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place.
Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 1㎝(3/8″) seam allowance.
Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.
Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 3㎜ (1/8″) away from the zipper.
Place the wrong sides together of the outer and lining of the main panel and sew the all edges.
With assembled lining of the zipper panel right side up, center zipper right side facing up along top edge.
Place the outer layer, right side down on top. Pin in place.
Using your zipper foot, sew along top edge using a 1㎝(3/8″) seam allowance.
Open out, press pieces away from the zipper.
Attach the outer and lining to the other side of the zip the same way.
Open out, press pieces away from and top stitch on both 3㎜ (1/8″) away from the zipper.
Sew both ends of the zipper panel and bottom panel.
Turn inside out and sew the outer and inner fabrics together.
Place and sew the handle on the right side of the side panel.
Do this by marking the quarter of your bottom panel and the quarter of your side panel (these are attached to each other at this point but just fold the piece in half to find the center).
Now, using your quarter marks, start pining the bottom of your side panel around the perimeter of your bottom.
Sew all the edges with an allowance of about 1㎝(3/8″).
The bias tape is placed on the seam, stitch up to the end.
Fold the bias twice, cover the seam allowance, and sew.
You are finished!!!
